Pauline S. Parker

Medical Contributor - MSN, AGNP-C

Pauline Parker has been an RN since 1980. She started her career as a Nurse Aide in 1971. Her love for patient care led her to complete her RN in 1980. Her experience on the surgical floor captured her interest in how the body connects and functions. This curiosity led her to the operating room, where she progressed for 25 years. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and began working for a major trauma center. Her experience included all aspects of surgery and trauma. She identified the need for patient education and realized it had to start with the individuals who where the closest to patients, the Nurse Aide. So, she started a proprietary school and taught allied health courses since 2007 which she still owns today. Clinical sites were few and far between for her students, so she decided the journey to become a Nurse Practitioner was inevitable. She graduated with honors from Chamberlain University College of Nursing with her BSN, then transitioned to South University and graduated with her MSN with honors. She became a Nurse Practitioner in 2018. She started putting her practice together and opened in early 2019. Today she specializes in Primary Care and loves what she does. In early 2021 she opened a MedSpa to assist her clinic in treating patients with skin issues and small burns. Later in June of 2021 she obtained her MAT Certification and treats patients with addiction problems.
